“Moving
Edmonton”
Full title:
“Moving Edmonton – Celebrating 100 Years of Edmonton Transit” (full
version)
In November of 1908,
the Edmonton Radial Railway began providing public transportation to the
citizens of Edmonton with a modest fleet of four streetcars traveling 21
km of track. Today, Edmonton Transit System (ETS) has grown to operate a
fleet of over 900 vehicles on more than 150 routes. ETS has been moving
Edmonton from the past, through our evolving society, and is poised to
move us into the future.
“Moving Edmonton”
uncovers the evolving story of Edmonton Transit, through the experiences
and reflections of retired and current personnel.
